Wachselemente werden wiederholt und bilden ein System, eine körperliche Struktur, die seitlich in Schalen aufliegt. Die Schalen halten die Struktur und fixieren sie gleichzeitig. Die Hindernisauflagen aus dem Springreiten werden als Readymades in ihrer Funktion manipuliert, indem der Sprung durch die Metallfixierung zur festen Barriere im Raum wird. Die körperliche Struktur wird als System gezeigt, das sich unter der Fixierung und Optimierung deformiert und zum verletzlichen Objekt wird.
Das Barren stellt eine Methode der Disziplinierung von tierischem Verhalten dar, zu einem normierten und optimierten Bewegungsablauf mit einem hohen Verletzungsrisiko für das Tier.

Wax elements are repeated and form a system, a physical structure that rests laterally in shells. The shells hold the structure and fix it in place at the same time. The obstacle supports from horse jumping are manipulated in their function as readymades, in that the jump becomes a fixed barrier in the space through the metal fixation. The physical structure is shown as a system that deforms under the fixation and optimization and becomes a vulnerable object.
“barren” represents a method of disciplining animal behaviour into a standardized and optimized sequence of movements with a high risk of injury for the animal.
